Multi washed silica sand & Rubber Chips

This general purpose surface is recommended for small to medium stable yards. It also needs regular maintenance. The quality of the sand is the most important element to a sand and rubber surface and only sand from Surrey is recommended for this purpose as any other sand with allow the rubber to be lost down through the sand as you need the sand to compact tightly underneath to create a firm base. Lately we have found that planning consent becomes more of a problem because of the black colour and environmental issues with this product.

 

Stable Track - Standard Premix

This is multi washed equestrian silica sand with a short  polyester fibre, with small particles of rubber to help bind the total mix together. This surface can alleviate jarring the horse's joints, unlike some dead surfaces, and has a minimal kick back, it is an economic surface with good characteristics.

 

Stable Track Pro

This is multi washed equestrian silica sand with  short polyester and nylon fibres, with small particles of rubber and  longer pre-shredded synthetic carpet  material to help bind the total mix together. With its root like fibre structure, it keeps the horse riding on top. This surface can alleviate jarring the horse's joints, unlike some dead surfaces, and has a minimal kick back. This surface is our  most popular surface

 

Stable Carpet Fibre Bales    (Synthetic Stabilizer Fibre)

A common problem with just having a multi-washed fine Silica Sand as a surface in its own right is the surface 'riding deep' this causes the horse to work into the surface rather than on top of it.

This can be counteracted by incorporation synthetic additives into the sand. Designed to blend with the silica, the stabiliser will enhance the comfort, performance stability and structure of your sand and also improve energy return to the surface

Our range of cladding itemized below can be blended with existing surfaces or purchased to lay with your existing sand. The cladding fabric will significantly enhance the performance of your sand surface. They are easy to install.

Advanced none waxed additive utilising the finest quality post industrial fibre shredded and mixed in precise proportions to create a root system similar to turf, with distinct advantages over natural footing. This robust fibre additive gives a good to soft turf type ride condition and has a more professional look and feel than a rubber chip when mixed with a new or existing surface.

The addition of long fibres adds vertical and horizontal support & reduces surface penetration. Both horse and rider can benefit from the cleaner surroundings. Minimal kickback will mean less overall maintenance.

The Fibres will trap valuable moisture within the surface to prevent the sand from drying out and becoming loose and enhance the performance of any sand / rubber surface
